Can't believe I forgot to post!
So, a year and a half ago I started this blogging thing to keep family and friends up to date on Maxwells ITP problem. Well, we had another appointment over a week ago and failed to update on the news. His coulnt was 150!!!!!! We couldn't believe it! In one month it went from 70 to 150 on its own, no help, no treatment, nothing! Yeah Max! You should have seen him light up when he read the numbers! It was priceless. There is no predicting when ITP will resolve itself, it is just a waiting game. So, it has been 1 1/2 years since his official diagnosis and over 3 1/2 years since his first symptoms. We are so relieved and excited, and hoping that the worst really is behind us. At anyime his counts could go down again, but for now we will be happy and take it month to month. After six months of normal counts he is considered to be "over it"....1 down, 5 to go! I have to feel grateful for the blessings we have been given. Even through this whole ordeal with Max, the rest of us have been healthy and I have to be grateful for that and for all the love and support we have received from all our family and friends. Thank you!

Congrats to me!
Just checked the SGM page and saw that I made the lottery for the St. George Marathon on October 3rd. Only 144 days left to train. But hey, if the contestants on the biggest loser can do it, so can I!!!

Thank you Max
Thank you Max! This is what he made me for dinner on Mothers Day! He is quite the little cook. Many times I have come downstairs to find him over the griddle making chocolate chip, mickey mouse pancakes for himself and his brothers. These were very tasty and the work that he put into cutting up the strawberries and placing them into smiley faces tells me how much he loves me. It was a fantastic dinner!

Thanks hunny!
What is this? This is a picture of my darling daughter with my mothers day present. Yes, that is a silk rose with a (dirty) teddy bear purchased from a gas station. Years ago my brother in law bought my sister a similar gift for their anniversary. When Jeff saw this he just couldn't resist. His only request was that I give it back so that he can give it again next year. What a guy! Thanks babe! The Dave Mathews Band Concert was a much better gift! I tried to get a good picture of us, but he was whining saying the flash was too bright!
